We work with what exists.
Techre soft pieces are made exclusively from offcuts that we source directlty from local manufacturers of shading and camping textile products. The cuts are too small to use be effectively used in their production, other than that the materials are new. That is why we don’t recylce or reuse, we reduce the amount of waste.
Shading offcuts - technical textile sourcing
All the soft parts are filled with polyurethane foam, that is directly sourced from the manufacturing facility of cleaning sponges. The offcuts are for now an inevitable part of production. We carefully inspect all the foam and use the cuttings as they are (we don’t shred the foam). Cleaning sponges are made for cleaning, made to a high standard of quality, they represent a perfect soft filler for Techre furniture.
